Selling my collection / assortment of various EGC / Travis Bean pickups I assembled over the past few years for personal projects that never came to fruition.
I personally made all of these from scratch during the time I worked at Electrical Guitar Company. I was the “pickup guy” there for three whole years. They are all in good working order but due to their unconventional nature might be best suited to be purchased by someone who’s handy or knows a good actual luthier.
PayPal / CONUS only
(prices include shipping)
Here’s the rundown:
The big-box Bean pickup is actually an EGC bridge pickup in a TB cover. I made a bracket for it and planned on installing it in a Precision bass I had. $150 *SOLD
The one wearing blue tape is a chrome cover EGC aftermarket bridge humbucker I made with larger sized magnets. *SOLD
The thunderbird pickup is an EGC bridge pickup in a thunderbird cover. It installs through the top like any regular old thunderbird pickup. I had this one in a Precision bass for a while, so it shows signs of use. Still sounds great!! $125
The one without a cover is a work in progress bridge pickup. The plan was to epoxy/solder it into a regular humbucker cover that has wings on it. $100
Unlike the previous three, this one’s probably best suited only for use in a bass guitar (due to its magnet configuration.) But who knows? The others can be used for either guitar or bass.
Mounting screws are not included. I’ve attached a screenshot of the correct ones to order for the Bean pickup’s bracket.
If you have any questions please let me know. Also if you’re interested in buying all of them I’m open to package deals!
Thanks for looking!!
