This one hurts. A lot. This is by far the best amp (and rig - I'm also selling my ML212 cabinet that I use with it 95% of the time - here's that sale thread) I've ever owned. But some unexpected life changes mean I have to sell off gear I'd rather keep.

I believe only 10 of these amps were ever made and only 7 or 8 exist in the wild so it is a rare beast. I bought the custom headcase to go with it (I believe it was $150) and will include that.

This is essentially a fantastic solid state lead sled that also includes a switchable tube pathway. This isn't just a preamp tube or two or an overdrive option, but a complete amplifier circuit with an output transformer. Without it engaged the Valkyrie is clear, fat, and punchy. There's no baked in EQ curve so the different tones of each bass really come through. And the EQ works like I wish every EQ did. You're not fighting against a built in EQ curve so each tweak does exactly what you want. The low and high mids have a sweepable center so if you want to cut at 250 Hz and boost at 1.8 kHz you can do exactly that.

But the real magic is when the tube circuit is engaged. It gives the sound this richness and extra harmonic content. My only real way to describe it is that it makes it more vibrant or "exciting" while still being clear and punchy.

The price includes shipping to the continental U.S. I will discount it for a local sale. And if someone locally wants the amp and cab I would sell both for $2500. I'm in the Sacramento/Roseville area.

This is one amp I never thought I’d see for sale. Would love to grab it except for that cash load thing. Somebody will snap this up quickly.

I always keep an eye open in the classifieds for a Valkyrie amp but I've gotten sloppy and this one has gotten away under my radar.:(

TB doesn’t work this way. You’ll need a supporting membership and your own ad with price and pics to sell on TB. Don’t take my word for it. There’s a whole section on conduct rules for this. Just a helpful FYI.
