Details

I am selling my Bergantino IP112. I am the original owner and bought this new. This is not the v2 version (i.e. the IP112ER). I bought this new right after Jim introduced them at a new defunct shop in Somerville, MA, that was one of Jim's authorized dealers. This was my main rig for two different bands I was in (a Rush tribute band and then a cover band). At one point, I had the HT112 to match it so I had all 1000 watts this was capable of. That was an insane rig and sound guys never even asked for DI; it was great. I haven't used this in quite some time since I'm no longer in rock bands and have no need for something this powerful.

If you don't know what this is, you can do a search here and find out more, but basically the IP112 is a 1x12" powered cabinet. All you need to do is hook up a preamp. If you need one, I'm selling the LowEnd True-Voice I used with this. By itself, the IP112 is rated at 500 watts. It weighs about 45lbs, so it's oretty portable.

The IP112 is in working condition and there are no operational issues with it. It comes with the original cover, power cable, and I am also including the 1/4" to XLR cable I used from my pre to the IP112 so you won't have to deal with that, either. The cables and the cover can be seen in the pictures.

The only real "issue" with the IP112 is cosmetic. I'm an Ampeg guy at heart, so I had a local person who recovers amps put Ampeg Diamond Blue Tolex on it. It looks sharp as you can see in most of the pictures. The carpet that was on there was ugly, to be honest. However, here's the problem which can be seen in the pictures: on the back and the bottom, the glue/adhesive failed about two years after the tolex was done where the seams are.

I talked to the guy after I discovered this, and he admitted that he used a bad batch of it. He never repaired it. If you are looking at it from the front, top, and sides - where it honestly mostly counts - it's fine. Back and bottom? It's clear. I cannot implore enough that this is purely cosmetic and does not affect its operation. I am not going to have it retolexed and repaired at this point, so I've priced this accordingly.

The other cosmetic "issue" is that the cover for one of the screws on the front is missing. It can be seen in the pic (i.e. the rest have the black "cap").

8 pics can be seen at this link. so you can see what I'm talking about for yourself.

Price and Shipping
  • $925 if you are reasonably local and I don't have to send this.
  • $1050 if I need to ship (Lower 48 only); if you are outside of the Lower 48, inquire and I will get a shipping price. I will use the $1075 price which covers the Continental US and then it would be the difference on top of that added. The $1075 includes professional packing as well.
My feedback speaks for itself here, so buy with confidence. PayPal only.

Don't like my price? Send a reasonable offer. The shipping price is based on what UPS told me. If shipping is cheaper than $125 in the Lower 48, I'll refund the difference.
