Bummer. Of all the basses I could sell, I really wanted to keep this one. I anticipate shelling out a decent amount of money to repair or replace the neck on my Modulus 5, so short of crowdfunding, I guess I have to liquidate some more basses, and this one prob has the best chance of selling because it's pretty great.
I picked it up here, and you have probably seen it before. Here's some info:

Gold Hardware (Replaced with Chrome hardware)

I got a Modulus FU5 on trade a year or so ago and have never been happy with the amount of relief in the neck. The rod was totally maxed out and there was still way too much. I got to looking in there and noticed what appeared to be the start of a hairline crack around the truss rod in the graphite and thought maybe it was because the rod had been overtightened. I tried to loosen the rod, but it's so friggin tight I basically stripped out the nut now. I've been talking to Modulus Graphite and am going to end up sending it to them to see what they can do for it.

Wow! That's awful especially with a graphite neck. Best of luck on that. The Streamer is lovely. Wish I could afford it to help out on the repair. GLWTS

Luck with this one, man. And the Modulus. I been playin Streamers a long time. From way old to more recent offerings like this one. Every one has been wonderful. I think they're the most consistent Warwick model over the years, and the most tonally and ergonomically balanced. I really wish I had the funds to add this to my arsenal. Whomever does won't regret it.

Thank you. Looks like $800 for the Modulus to pull the board, put in new rod, install new phenolic board, refinish. Boo hoo

I had a guy who ran over his Modulus neck with a truck. It was fixed locally, held for ten years but the repair finally failed. He bought a brand new neck for around $600 straight from Modulus. I figured it'd be around that. But? When you get it back it'll last for a thousand years. Heh.

It seems weird to me that they just don't have some necks lying around that they could sell me.
