Brice HXB-406 6-string bass, made by Rondo Music (makers of Agile guitars)
Designed after the ESP/LTD B-206SM with identical specs, made in South Korea. Plays excellently and definitely performs above its level. Stock electronics have been replaced with EMG DC (neck) / CS (bridge) and the standard Solderess Wiring Kit with 2Vol/2Tone control layout. Stock plastic nut has been replaced with Graphtech Black Tusq XL; the nut is slightly narrower than the original to move the high and low strings slightly away from the fretboard edge to improve playability.
Body is in excellent shape; fretboard is clean and well-oiled, and frets are level and without dents. Neck has a few slight nicks noticeable to touch but difficult to locate by eye (I was unable to locate well enough to take pictures).
I've used this bass for years in the studio to record multiple songs and EPs; it's never been on stage, always in a non-smoking environment. I'm only selling it to fund an upgrade, otherwise I'd continue to happily use it!
