The Valve Champ is a tube boost/tone enhancer based on the classic Valvecaster design. Previously released as the Bug Drive during a PCDH19 charity auction, the Valve Champ employs a JJ 12AU7 tube for authentic tube boost and character. The Valve Champ expands upon the Valvecaster by using a tilt EQ tone control and an additional JFET boost on the output. The center frequency for the tilt EQ is 300 Hz.
