I'm selling my backup Carvin BX500 head. It has a very clear tone and a lot of great features. It has a bypassable tube in the preamp, can go down to 2 ohms (500 watts and 4 and 2 ohms), a compressor, contour knob, and has tons of tonal options some of which are bypassable. It has had the ribbon cables cleaned twice. The price is a little low so that you can afford to take it to an amp tech in case you want the ribbon cables replaced, or you want to give it a routine lookover. The amp has had issues with the ribbon cables (typical Carvin amp problem) needing to be cleaned but after a cleaning it sounds great. Cleanings are easy to do if you ever have problems in the future. I gigged this amp extensively but it's very tough and doesn't really have any scratches or much noticeable wear. $200 shipped CONUS only. Paypal is fine. Thanks for your consideration.
