bought this bass as a replacement/backup to my boutique instruments when one went into the shop for a new neck to be made. i received it in October 2016
bass has held up amazingly well. my total investment is $1816.74, after ordering the instrument i replaced the pickups with Aguilar soap bars, and installed dunlop strap locks.
I just switched back to the original pickups. much happier with them for this particular bass. price is down to $1200 with original pickups.
nothing else to add. mint condition besides one spot i marked on the body for where i set the neck pickup volume when i want predominantly back pickup sound. mark comes off effortlessly with a little rubbing alcohol which won't damage the finish. i can remove it for you if you wish.
has freshly installed d'addario stainless strings with maybe 10 minutes of playing on them. weight is on the heavy side, probably 10lbs? not sure, don't own a scale to test it.
any other questions feel free to ask. this bass has the most stable neck i've ever owned, feels and sounds great. i don't plan on lowering the price to move this.
