For sale CIJ Geddy Jazz

CIJ Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, 2004-2005. I am the second owner, have had this bass for almost 20 years. Has lived in my smoke-free studio the majority of the time. This one has the famously thin neck. In what I would consider excellent condition but has been played so there are some typical swirl marks, etc on the pickguard and minor finish wear which you really have to get on top of the bass to see. Hard to photograph the glossy black finish w/o seeing dust flecks and reflections(for example compare the full frontal shot with the close up of the bottom edge of the bass--those white lines are reflections). People, including my tech, always comment it looks pampered for a 20 year old bass. There is a tiny nick on the fingerboard edge between the 5th and 6th fret (E string side) which does not affect playability--I never notice it when playing. There is a little wear at the truss rod access slot which is covered up by the pickguard.

Professionally installed DiMarzio Area J noiseless pickups. These are the hum-cancelling DiMarzios that sound the most like traditional single coil Jazz pickups IMO. I do not have the original pickups or white pickguard. Pro setup on the bass as well. I have two pickguards, the black one on the bass, and a tort guard that is like new. I also have black pickup covers I can include. Currently strung with DR Nickel LoRiders, 45-105. Everything works as it should - hardware, electronics, truss rod.
Weight on my bathroom scale is 9.5 lbs.
I can include a Fender gig bag that has a broken zipper for a little extra shipping protection.
