GASing for another bass, so I need to round up funds.
Cliff Bordwell 'Rami' 5 - $1400 shipped CONUS. Overseas buyers pay for all shipping charges and assume all risks.
According to the previous owner:
"The bass originally came with a stabilized/acrylic fingerboard & nut and a dual-acting truss rod which was under-engineered for the 3 piece wenge / maple "modern" neck. Suffice it to say, they did not "play well together". Bass has been to Mike Lull and Paul Schuster for upgrades including (1) installation of a rosewood fingerboard (2) installation of a heavy duty single-acting rod (3) new bone nut (4) Plek job. Unless I had mentioned this, you would have no way of knowing that any modifications existed...the work is that good and melds in seamlessly with the original craftsmanship."
He speaks the truth - this baby is gorgeous and plays great. I just have my eyes on something else so time to mover her on.
Specs:
Condition is pretty close to excellent and I'd conservatively give it a 9/10. A few minor imperfections, which is pretty normal given the oil / wax finish. Looks great but doesn't provide the protection one would see with poly. The most glaring is a slight impression between the neck pickup and truss rod access.
Weight is approximately 9 lbs, and the balance is perfect.
