My wife and I are trying to purchase our first home, I'm in grad school, and I'm not playing this bass enough. These three factors have influenced me to reach the hard decision of selling this bass.

Its a great bass. Anyone who has played a Ritter knows. It sounds and plays amzing; punchy and clear. A very comfortable slim D shaped neck that is stable and quick. The action is set low & probably too low for some. I currently have it strung E-C, but when I did have strung up w/a low 'B', it was very tight.

Cosmetically and functionally it is in great condition. The only issue is that some of the black is rubbing off the knobs.

I'm asking $3200 (Now $2800!) plus shipping. I am open to offers, just don't low ball me. I'd rather not do paypal d/t the fees, but I can if there is no other way. I have great feedback here. I do not have a case for the bass, but I'll buy whatever case you'd like to ship it in as long as you're willing to pay the cost of it. I also have an incase gigbag if you're interested.

Also willing to trade for a house in the Boston Metro West Area!

This is a VERY incredible bass. I've played it briefly...since I didn't want to get a bad case of GAS. Plus I've heard Eric play this bass several times and it sounded just crushing in the mix. (of course Eric could make a broomstick with a rubber band sound great.:)).

I wish I had the bucks to take this off your hands but life has just not been that good for me for the last year or so.

And I'm not going to bust your chops about selling this bass as getting into a home is very important step that typically requires some sacrifices. :hmm:

Anyway bump for a really super nice guy and a real deal Ritter at a working man's price.

Thanks for the words Jerry! It is really such a great instrument. It's just time for me to grow up a little bit a put priorities first. The wife is actually against me selling this bass...weird.

Well that makes her a keeper IMHO. Bump for ya. :bassist:

That she is. She's even supporting my lazy butt while I'm in grad school.

I'll check later tonight if I have any soundclips that weren't recorded with a digital camera. If anyone has any questions or needs any more pics, feel free to ask. I still have the official Ritter certification spec sheet. I'll check and see if there are any specs I missed. The last pic in the original post is from the Ritter website; coming up on the birthday it looks like.

These basses are not my thing at all but I have to give you a bump for a very fair asking price. :) Good luck with the sale, the home and school!

I played this one a few times. One of my favorite basses out there! Sounds and plays killer! :bassist:

He speaks the truth! bump.

Side note: I did find some, but the only soundclips I have are live from a digital camera. So not exactly the best.

I'm open to offers as well. I'll probably only bump this about once a week though as buying a house is about 6 months away and I'm not in a huge rush.

I'm currently mulling over if I want to ship it overseas as I have a potential buyer...

Anyone in the US want to take a stab?
