I've got one much like this bass except it came with a factory kahler trem and has regular p/j pickups. Great sounding and playing bass. Also, pretty light. I would say it is maybe a bit punchier than an MVP.

I wouldn't expect much difference in tone compared to a newer MVP bass (Bartolini pups and pre) but I wonder how does the neck feel compare? Buzz 4 basses have a narrow nut (1.5") and narrow string spacing at the bridge which I really like, these make for great butter like playability.
Any comments about this bass on that respect???

After looking at the attached pictures of the Acoustibass all I can say is, oooooh! And as you write in the description "near mint". What a classy looking bass. Never seen a more Rob Allen MB-2 look alike, anywhere. You shouldn't have too much trouble selling [giving] it away. All the best.
