Well, I am taking my ex-wife to court to get full custody of my kids and it is going to cost a bunch of money. To help with the expenses, I am going to sell everything I have laying around that I thought I wanted, never needed, but bought anyway. This will be just the start. I have several low end basses and amps that I will be letting go. Also my beloved SWR rig that I just do not use. It will be listed with pictures in the amp section along with several little practice amps.

3) Hartke HA 3000. Great Amp. Missing a couple of knobs, but everything else is good to go... Just don't use it any longer... $250 + Shipping.

4) SOLD

5) Mid-1990's SWR Golliath Jr II. Excellent condition. Works great... $250. Again, I would prefer not to ship this one, but I will.

Good luck, brother. It cost me 20 grand to get mine, but it was worth it.

My boys went from truant antisocial problem kids with her, to well-behaved straight A students with me.

If they're really close to their mom, they'll hate you for a while. But they'll come around. It takes time. Don't give up.

They actually do not like their mom at all. It is a expensive formality.. It sucks really. $2000 so far and I have not even gone to mediation

Good luck with your fight, sir! I have my son, who is 18 now, straight A student, and a saved Christian. His mother's other 3 children, whom all have different dads, are bad. I mean really bad. Bad like I won't even talk about here bad.

Don't give up the fight, their YOUR children too.

The sad part of all this is money that could go to give the children a better life goes to lawyers. I have a brother-in-law going through the same situation. Good luck with your sale, I wish I had the extra money to help you out. I wouldn't mind having the SWR. Free Bump

I wish you the best of the best in your fight. One of the most noble causes out there.

If I can get something of mine sold, I'd LOVE to talk to you about the SWR 210.
I'd love to help us BOTH out!

Just a neat little info if you so desire.

I went NUTS trying to find a box for an Ampeg 4X10HLF cab I sold on Ebay.

A friend suggested HOME DEPOT for a box. I was like, REALLY? They sell a "wardrobe" box, with a metal support bar for the top of the box that was a PERFECT FIT! The extra few inches on the top made well for some of those large bubbles.

The cardboard was really thick, and we had NO ISSUES in shipping it across the country! Price...$9.95. It saved SO much grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a FYI!

Best of luck to you & the kids!

Awsome suggestion. You should most certainly post this to another forum for more people. That kind of box would come in handy!

Also, try dumpster diving at your local appliance store. I've found corners and packing, as well as boxes that fit perfectly. If you have to you can put some corners (the long ones that go all the way down the corner of the appliance) then take a washing machine box and wrap the cab/amp with the corners once or twice.

You can go to any hardware store and buy some of that spray foam. The super expanding stuff. Wrap whatever in a garbage bag or something like that and tape it shut. Use spray foam in each corner and set the amp (whatever) in to the spray foam. Molds right to your item. Then do the same thing for the top. Cost is about $3 and you get some good tight seals on your corners
