Details

This bass is in beautiful condition. Bought from Dan Lakin as it was part of his personal collection. Killer sound. Will ship in a white lakland hardshell case.

Humbucking CHI-Sonics with LH-3 preamp with a passive tone control.

I would put the value of this bass at around $2500 just as a reference point for trades, but am open to some wheeling and dealing!

What I am looking for:

All +/- cash as appropriate

Rob Allen 5 or 6, fretless preferred
Rick Turner 5 or 6. fretless preferred
US Lakland 55-94 Fretless (Unlined preferred)
Possibly a US Lakland HB
Fretless FBass (AC perhaps)
Warrior 6 String (fretted)

Volume, P/U Blend, Bass, Mid, Treble, Passive Tone Control. The switch was wired as an "off/mute" although Carl at Lakland said it is very easy to wire back to "humbucker/single coil" selector

I have the "tester" 55-07 (now refinished) and LOVE it.....these things can really bring the house down!

I would definately have it rewired for single/humbucker selection....

way cool bass...part of the reason I had mine refinished was I saw this (after I got mine) and loved the blue....the color is very cloise to BMW blue...

Have a new gig, and could really use an acoustic/upright sounding bass.

I would also consider a warrior 6 string.
Right, 'cause a Warrior sounds like an acoustic/upright, you GAS-y bastage!:spit::p

Bump for a great guy and a sweet bass that I've seen in person. Aaron, this thing is super-light, isn't it?

Hey, I regret selling my Warrior 6, it was worth a shot....and yes, it is very light. Filled with helium actually....j/k....I would put it around 8.5 lbs. I will attempt to weight it tonight.
