Details

Beautiful handmade ash/maple neck-thru built by Canada's best know luthier. Bird's eye fretboard. EMG P/J pickup configuration with the tone expander pot. This bass pumps out the lows. Schaller bridge and tuners. Comes with OHSC.

Serial number 113. This was the actual bass used as the catalog model the year it was made. I still have the catalog around here somewhere.

Bass is in fantastic condition given that its almost 20 years old, just shows a little wear and tear from being played and loved. Neck is perfect and fast, nice and thin. Frets are in great shape with lots of life left in them.

It has massive tone. This may well be "The best bass for Metal"

Hoping to get $750.00 for it, but am open to offers. In my opinion thats a bargain for boutique quality. I paid a lot more, and upgraded the pickups after as well.

Make me an offer, we can work out shipping options if you're interested. Willing to ship anywhere.

Thanks for looking, Lenny.

Beauty bass.. PM'd with questions and offer.

Man, Canadian basses from the 80s and 90s don't seem to get the same level of respect. I've got two Larrivee solidbody electric basses from the 80s, one 4 string, one fretless 6. I got them at a steal, but no one seems to know how great they are!

Good luck with the sale, Lado rules. Someone will be very happy.

Thanks man. It's true, this bass is a beauty, the build quality is as nice as any bass I've ever seen. I'll just have to be patient. Someone who knows Lado quality is going to score a sweet deal indeed.

A good friend of mine who is a collector and tone hound says I'm an idiot for selling it so cheap. He says if he can't get what a guitar is worth he won't sell it. I just don't use it at all though. It sits in a case under my bed. I don't really need the money, but I'm always GASSING for something so I figured why not see what I can get for it.

I may just keep it yet.

Lenny.

Bump. With a couple of new pics. I had a set of brand new DR Lo-Riders here that I tried on my Jazz bass and didn't really like, so I put them on the Lado.

Also comes with Schaller strap locks.

Its also pretty cool that the Canadian Standard stays in Canada.. :) Its just heading NW to Thompson MB. Hope it likes short summers with long ass days, and long winters with nothing else to do besides hop on a sled and go for a ride or pick up a guitar and give it some love..
