Engaging the pedal gives a single position Wah setting. One could say it has limited use, but, that setting could be a very interesting EQ'ing (filtering), plus you get a boost with the VOL control. Quality of the pedal is great, it's super quiet and small.

Thanks, I had a Cry Baby guitar wah many years ago and used to leave it in one position most of the time....
