I need a new computer for my studio so the following are FS. A very specific trade list is also listed below. I know I've been waffling on the Octron, but I'm ready to let it go.

All pedals are excellent+ to near mint, and fully functional. I should have the boxes as well, but I'll let you know if I don't.

My wife misplaced the USB cable for the camera, so I don't have a pic of the Punch and Grind, Expressor, or the SFT at the moment.

The Octron, Growler and Heliotrope pics above are the of the actual units. I took the stickers off the Octron.

It's a cascading fuzz. The left side is the Punch (contolled by the left knob) and the right side (and three knobs labelled Grind, Tone, and Level) is the Grind and it's darker tonally. They can be set as two separate fuzzes and toggled on/off, but with both engaged, the Punch feeds the Grind for massive wall of fuzz sounds. No low end loss that I can hear. There is a tone bypass toggle on the north side that bypasses the tone stack and adds some sparkle to my ears as well as a volume boost.

Now, if you don't mind one more question... how did you find the Growler? Was it mostly tone enhancement or was there some drive or sparkle or wetness injected into sound?

All of the above:p I use it subtly for tone enhancement and the second channel I use for the sparkle. It adds some life when stacked before dirt pedals. It's a unique effect, without peer, that's for sure.

hmmm... I know I sure like my FEA DBD. If I wasn't buying a Line 6 M5, I think I'd be all over the Growler.

friendly bump... I own a growler and must say I like it a lot. The harmonics, slight boost with the +6db switch and the ability to send a second (clean) signal wherever you like makes this a great first in line pedal.

I'm looking at the Octave going, hmmm.... I see people selling em left and right, yet they get much love here on TB. Do they flip so much because people find they don't use an octaver? I'm waffling back and forth between the Foxrox and the EBS variants, both on sale often here...

The Octron is amazing -well built and very flexible (internal switches). I'm just not using octave enough (and I have an OC-2 should I need to). It kills on guitar as well and it may just end up on my guitar board anyway. I think that if I had the Octron2 with its ability to toggle on/off the upper and lower octaves individually, it would be much more useful to me.
