I am re-listing my 6 String Fret-less Stambaugh (Exotic) SC for a cheaper price. The bass is in like-new condition - 9.8 out of 10.0! The bass plays and sounds incredible. In the hands of a true fret-less player this bass would be dangerous. My intonation on a fret-less when playing with my band needs some work (The onus falls completely on me - not the bass) , and I don't have much need for a fret-less in my classic rock band. Since this beautiful bass isn't getting the playing time and love that it deserves I regretfully have decided to sell it to help catch up on some bills.
New this bass would cost $3600.
In my previous sale thread I was asking $2300.00 with a brand new SKB hard shell case plus a nice wide padded leather strap with new strap locks. The case seems like it was made for this bass and fits it like a glove.
** I am now asking $2150.00 with the new SKB hard shell case and leather strap with strap locks shipped CONUS and insured. **
OR
** $2050.00 in a beat up padded Warwick Rock bag shipped CONUS and insured. **
Payment methods = Paypal or Bank Check
The only trades I would be interested in would be for a 4 or 5 string Pedulla Thunderbass or a 4 or 5 string Pedulla MVP. I may also consider a 5 string (Fretted) Roscoe.
If I did trade the Stambaugh I would use my original asking price of $2300 (what I feel this bass is actually worth!) and not my cash sale price for the value of the Stammie to compare to the value of the trade bass.
