Up for sale is my Fbass BN5. I love everything about this bass, except the taper of the strings near the nut. I just prefer wider spacing at the nut, so even though it pains me I must move it. The tone and playability of this bass is awesome.
Bass is from Ontario builder George Furlanetto, bass is finished in the optional Auburn Burst with matching headstock and heal. Ash body. 22 fret-34.5" scale maple neck with an upgraded Macassar Ebony fingerboard. Two hum-cancelling pickups run through a defeatable (boost only) 3-band EQ. black hardware and F-Bass gigbag.
Bass is in a very good used condition (8.75/10). There's some small player wear near the end of the bass where the gloss finish is just a bit duller. Also there is a small impression on the back of the neck around the 9th fret. It is small and you can barely feel it but it is there so I am mentioning it. It bothers me not. I have included pictures of both areas as well as others showing the rest of the bass which is really clean.
Price is $2150 shipped to CON US. F bass gig bag included.
As far as trades go. Really on interested in 35" scale, 5 string jazzer like Mike Lulls or Lakland Skyline (JO or DJs). Looking for less than 9.5 lbs on trades. Maybe the right Roscoe SKB (no LGs). Also may consider Aguilar Sl112 cabs or TH500 amp. Run em by me. Plus or minus cash depending on the bass. I will be out for vacation and can ship by Thursday otherwise it will have to wait until I return.
