I bought this guitar earlier this year from a guy who had dozens of basses. He said that this one had been sitting in its case, under a bed, for the past 20 years. After looking the bass over, I realized that he was serious. Aside from a millimeters long indentation on the back of the neck, this Peavey is in utterly immaculate condition. In fact, there is still a bit of glue on the back of the neck, where it looks like a price tag or factory sticker had been. A rare find indeed.
The bass comes with the original hard shell Peavey case with plush lining. I have strung it up with Rotosound flats for a vintage sound, which it has in spades. I'm selling this beast because my band has finally broken up and moving out of state to finish college.
These basses normally go for $300 used, but I'm asking for an extra $50 plus shipping because it's virtually new. I will only trade for a Neumann microphone or a Rickenbacker bass...in other words I want cash only. (Unless you've got an old beat-up budget Rick from the 80s/early 90s.)
Finally, I'm not sure what the year is, but the Serial No. is 00944828.
