Im throwing this up here just to kinda test the waters. I purchased this Engelhardt EM-1 a few months ago and it seems my bass needs are going in a different direction now. Im looking to see if there might be a local trade for an electric bass. Im kinda open to all comers but lately Ive been looking at Fenders and Musicman basses and everything close to that style but Im pretty open so show me anything.
Mine is an Engelhardt EM1 that is in close to perfect condition. I just strung it with a set of new Innovation Silver Slaps which sound great for slapping and finger style. I still have the original strings which I think were Dominants and have an awesome finger sound but were a bit too tight for slapping. Bass comes with a bag and bow, but it needs restringing.
Id like to entertain all comers but would prefer local as I cant imagine these are cheap or easy to ship. So with this all in mind.....whatcha got? BTW, I put this thread here because you guys have all the electrics.
