Howdy Folks,
I just did a horse trade with a non TB'er and got this bass. If you check my post history I don't like P necks.
Here is the scoop. The bass has all original hardware except for strap buttons, knobs, and a pickup and bridge cover was added. The work done looks great.
The good. Sounds and plays well. Neck is in superb condition and the grain on the rosewood looks stellar. The added covers look great as well. Body except for what is noted below looks in good shape as well, with minor surface marks and normal gigging markings.............
........now the bad. They guy I got it from had a Les Paul that took a dive and lost. It left a bit of a dent in the upper horn and a some various cracks and in one place down to the wood on the upper contour. (The Les Paul the this bass fought lost some tuners and some headstock). Fender Bass 1, Gibson Guitar = 0.
Also want to note (this will be fixed) after market straplock button creased the poly from being overly tight. I will fill that and remount the button so it's not noticable prior to shipping.
Here are some pics for now:
Upper horn dent.
Contour dent/crack/chip, little larger than a quarter for the whole mess.
Without a hardshell in great shape this should sell for 430ish shipped.
Well, since it isn't perfect lets say we knock some cash off and go with 375 shipped SOLD!
I have to order boxes to ship these so it might take about a week to ship.
I like paypal, but also have the ability through Square Up to take credit cards via phone and email you a receipt.
Removed trade option.
