Details

Here is a completely Modified and upgraded Jackson Concert Series 5 string bass.

Here are the particulars:

Electronics were upgraded to a Seymour Duncan 3 band pre-amp. (old one was tired and needed updating) Contols are Vol/Blend/treb/mid/bass (cut/boost) and has a "slap" switch (mid cut)

Pickups were old and tired so they were tossed and upgraded with a Tesla MM-5 and a Deisel - Fat pole Jazz style pickup. Both pickups are full, punchy and articulate. No lack of growl and grind here folks.

Neck-completelly stripped and refinished using a proprietary oil/poly blend. Fret board edges were rolled and treated with lemon oil. Frets have been given the full treatment including; level, crown, polished and dressed. 1 3/4" at the nut and 18mm string spacing.

A Pro setup was performed and new Circle K strings have been installed. Dunlop strap locs will be installed as well. Just waiting on UPS.

Don't forget to check out the cool upgraded machined aluminum control knobs too.

I'll let this one go for $500 shipped to the CONUS including MONO M80 Gig bag or $425 shipped without. International is O.K. PM me for shipping quote.

These basses are without a doubt "sleepers". I've owned a couple and both played really well. I think the weak are of these babies are in fact the pickups/preamps which you have remedied QUITE nicely.

Best of luck with the sale Rob, you have a beautiful monster on your hands here!

That looks awesome! And the flame on the headstock is gorgeous.

I definitely agree with madbassplaya on this one. You took a nice looking bass with potential and fulfilled its every need:
Better pickups, preamp, and fretwork.

GLWTS bump!
