I'm selling my Engelhardt EC1. Its got some nicks and scratches, etc, as I originally bought it from Engelhardt as a 'blemished' bass. The main issue is that the top part of the bass bar is coming unglued, which I first noticed when searching for the source of a buzzing sound. I wanted to fix the buzz before I sold it but now that I see what it is, I can't fix it myself.

I am selling it with a stand (in the picture), and a Glasser fiberglass french bow. It has a set of Corelli 370f strings.

I am asking $450.

It's still worth a call IMO. I read a story on this board not long ago that was posted by a family who bought a 20-year-old Engelhardt as new old stock and had a problem. Tom Link personally arranged for a warranty replacement.

I've been trying to contact engelhardt for several weeks, they never seem to pick up the phone. I've left a message and I've emailed them, but I still haven't heard back. Maybe they just don't want to deal with it.

So, just to update, its still for sale and it looks like engelhardt's not going to do anything for me. If no ones interested here I'll put it on craigslist, but I'd prefer to sell it somewhere where the buyer knows what they're getting into in terms of the bass bar problem.
