I was super excited to get it, but then never really played it. Right after I bought it, I contacted Michael Tobias about a case. He had one made for this bass and shipped it to me.

I can ship it to you in that case, then inside a cardboard box for $1050. Seems fair enough? If you are local, I'll knock off $50. I don't want to make any trades, just cash. Cash talks, so make an offer if my price is way off.

When I stand on my electronic bathroom scale holding the bass, I weigh nine pounds more than I do when I am not holding it. The bass alone will not set off the sensor on the scale.

For you my friend, I will go $900 shipped. You get the bass with the upgrades, hand signed by Michael Tobias after he did a fret job, the MTD branded hardshell case (in mint condition) made for this bass, and it was last set up by Mike Lull. I'll even ship it today.

No need to bump, because this bass is a beauty all by itself. MTD done right, with my favorite pickups (btw Carey Nordstrand is a total class act), and an Aggie pre, too! The build on these basses rival my Lakies... Man, if there was something I could trade, maybe... But I've got to stop adding to the herd, right???

Sorry, but I didn't play it long enough to record any sound clips. I asked Stanley Clarke to stop by and record me some clips, but he was really busy the day I asked.

Yes, Carey Nordstrand is a class act, the definition of it. You could probably call him about these pickups and he would remember making them. :D
