FS: A unique Cirrus Fretless 6! Beautiful Redwood top! The Custom Shop guys told me when I bought it that it was only the second one like it. I am the original owner and ordered it from the custom shop in 2000. It has been played, but is in amazing condition.
Bookmatched Redwood top, Alder body, pau ferro fretboard and maple markers inset into the fretboard. Maple neck w/purpleheart stringers. Active VFL pickups, 3-band EQ with 10dB cut/boost, and milled ABM multi-adjustable bridge. It has some minor 'rash' and a few minute nicks..nothing major! The fretboard has very little wear for an 11 year-old bass!
I'm asking a paltry $900.00 shipped in the lower 48. Steal it now before I change my mind and get in a fight with the boss-lady! :rollno:
IM if interested. More Pics on request.
Thanks, Oilfieldtrash

Ahh, right on. I'm actually in Monahans but I work at N Tune in Odessa. You must be the guy that our keyboard guy Dan talks about that has the amazing redwood 6 string Cirrus fretless, hehe. I just bought a ruby red maple fretboard Cirrus sixer also. Now I'm sad :( lol

Good luck on the sale though, that's a beauty!

Oh how I wish I had the cash. That is pretty much exactly what I want! Would go well along side my maple fretted Cirrus 6er. Bump for you!

Where abouts in Tx are ya? I'm in Brownsville, SPI area. I've been looking for a 34" scale fretless 6, but most of them don't have wide enough spacing (19mm) for me. What's scale, and string spacing on this one?

Jester,
It's 35 scale. The 3/4-inch string spacing (at the bridge) totals up to a three and 5/16-inch width, which tapers to two inches at the nut. I'm about 30 minutes north of Houston!

Mutha,
Yep! That's the Dan!! Good Dude, Tell him I said "hey" and will see him over the holidays!

The math is off. 3/4" or .75" or 19mm is typical 4 string spacing. A 6 with 3/4 certainly won't add up to 3 & 5/16.
I've owned one of these and although the bridge does have side to side adjustment, the median spacing is 17mm or .66", not 19mm or .75" (3/4").

Thanks for the input PhatBasstard! I'm no math expert, but my calipers came-up with right at 17.1 - so I guess that puts it about .673". That's as close as I could get with the naked eye.

These are great and highly underrated basses. If I could have got a 6 with 3/4" spacing I'd still own one (or more). Good Luck.

Bumps for the quick reply, Thank you.

I'm used to the 19mm (3/4") spacing on my TRB, but I can work comfortably with with something around 18". The 35" does kill it for me tho. Too bad tho, this is a sweet looking bass.

Thanks VS! It's a sweetheart! Nice and even-toned fretless. Very 'organic' sounding, 'mwahs' and growls with the best of 'em. I'll have more pics up shortly.
