Hi, I am going to sell either this Monarch Elite I purchased from Jason at Fodera several months ago or my Yin Yang Standard. Once one sells, I am going to keep the other one. Both are as close to perfect sounding as anything I have played.
Below are parts of two letters Jason sent me about this magnificant Monarch Elite. Just to be clear, I am selling it not him, lol! Jason has nothing whatsoever do do with the bass now! But I can vouch that what he wrote in the letters is true AND it has not been taken out of the house since I got it and not played much. Thanks for reading and if you get it, you will absolutely love it!
You can own it for $6500 firm. Not interested at all in trades, thanks. I will pay shipping. It comes in a Fodera case and will be packed by a place that ships UPS so if there is damage there will not be a problem with a claim. Payment is via Paypal only. Here is the Monarch 4 Elite that I am putting up for sale. I will absolutely vouch for (it) as being a really, really great sounding, feeling and playing bass!
It is a 2004 Monarch 4 Elite with a Walnut Body, Ash Tone Block, Duncan Dual Coils and 2011 Preamp. The top is Curly Maple (solid Top) with a Birdseye Maple FB.
Here is the way that it would price out as a new bass....
Monarch 4 Elite = $8,000
Solid Top on Elite = $500
Dual Coils in Wooden Covers = $1,050
Total List (if New) = $9,550
