I bought this awesome bass from fivestringgecko last October after never having played a Modulus before. By far one of the best feeling basses I have ever played. For a 35" scale bass it is very comfortable. And the finish - wow. Beautiful and rare green/blue dragonburst. Normally I am not a fan of bursts but this one is gorgeous on the AAAAA quilt. Features an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp and Bartolini pickups.
Unfortunately I way underestimated what I was going to owe at tax time and I just committed to another Spector, so this bass is the odd man out.
I am the second owner - the original owner purchased it in 2006 from Planet Bass. It is in excellent condition with the only noticeable blemish being a slight nick on the tip of the headstock which was there when I got it. Very small mark - pictures from original owner below.
This bass saw one rehearsal and light playing time since I've had it and has otherwise stayed in the case the whole time. Currently wearing a nice set of D'Addario XL super long nickels. It will include the comfort strap with black Dunlop Dual Design straplocks installed as well as the allen wrenches that came with the case and the original hardshell case (features Modulus logo).
