Very reluctantly Selling a totally stock 1989 MusicMan Stingray 5. Killer bass. Very awesome sounding Ray. Sounds a lot like a 4 string. This one is punchy and deep.
This bass has mojo out the wazoo and has seen a lot of use. Neck is perfect. No dents or dings on the neck frets are in great shape Maple neck really sweet rosewood board. Body has natural relic to it. The finish is worn and the body has wear marks from use. The body has little wear marks everywhere. Mainly on the back of the body. No huge dings, just little marks from brads, zippers, wallet chains etc. It looks really cool. The wear on it has been honest wear because it is a great bass.
Just bought several more basses (including another NYC Sadowsky 5) and have a few customs in build process.........hence the sale of this one and maybe even a few other ones.
Won't be sad if this doesn't go anywhere as it kills........I will just have to deal more with a mad wife as I have totally blown the one in one out rule lately.
My digital scale puts this at 9.34 lbs.
