Not entirely sure I want to do this, but I got a wild hair right now.

Ampeg SVT-AV for trade. Very good condition. Has a brief bout of static when switching out of standby mode and a little bit of static occasionally during use. Most likely ready for a new preamp tube or two. Has a padded ATA case as well.

Willing to trade for a little less than the SVT-AV is worth due to the static/tube replacement needed.

I whole heartedly agree that would be the best way. Unfortunatly the Navy found it fit to just recently transfer me to San Diego. I have access to this site only through my phone right now and not a computer so I can't update that on my profile :(

That's funny. The coast guard is transferring me to st croix...sucky I know. I don't trust govt procured movers and an 80lb piece of delicate tubery to arrive safely on an island with no amp tech. One of the reasons this is up on tb.

I completely understand what you're saying. With this move, I had two pages of items for claims. It's ridiculous. I'm glad I chose to keep my basses with me and not let them touch them.

I normally take my basses with me, but this move would be airline baggage handlers vs lowest bid movers...ugh no winning here. I better invest in a ton of bubble wrap!

I don't see a voltage selector on the back so I'm guessing you need a step up transformer. BUT...I'm def not shipping an 80lb box oconus. That's way too much of a PITA!
