Thinning the herd. How I hate to sell off perfectly good basses, these will be missed. Both are great players made with quality parts, no unpleasant surprises. I've gigged them both (always in smoke-free environments, no funny smells here). Any bumps or scratches are minor and were there when I bought the parts and assembled them. I baby my gear.
Please don't ask me to take them apart to analyze the parts. That's too much work, I just don't have the time, so I did my best to ball park it for you in the descriptions. I'm a full-time working musician, and I deemed them more than adequate for stage and studio.
Take your pick of the two (or buy them both!). $350.00 each shipped CONUS in gig bag, $390.00 each shipped CONUS in a good-condition generic hardshell (see last picture). Shipping to the rest of the world considered on a case-by-case basis. PayPal only, buyer picks up the fee. No holds, first paid, first served.
NO TRADES! I have to reduce my number of basses.
Jazz Bass Number 1: Cream/Tort SOLD!

Jazz Bass Number 1: Cream/Tort SOLD!
- Allparts Neck Blocked and Bound (black), frets in excellent shape, Fender waterslide
- Schaller Tuners
- Tort Pickguard, more brown than red, nice pattern, not cheap looking foto-tort
- Fender body, but I'm not sure from where. It's definitely a nice one, I suspect MIM or better, based on the finish, could be MIJ
- Ground connect from pickup cavity to bridge
- Top-loader
- Pickups are MIM or better, 60's spacing, sound very comparable to my USA Fender pickups, nice full output, definitely not el-cheapos
- Weighs approximately 9.0 pounds on my digital bathroom scale
- Some tiny bumps bruise scratches signs of handling and player wear mainly on the body, neck is very clean
