I don't want to sell this bass, but things happen and she's gotta go.

The bass is in Great condition, no marks or dings that I can find, only the slightest signs that it's been played. I did some upgrading after receiving the bass. The original pickups were super noisy, so I installed Fender Custom Shop Noiseless pickups, it sounds great and no more hummmmm.

I also got rid of the crappy tuners and installed Hipshot Vintage tuners as well as Dunlop strap locks. New set of EB coated strings.Tolex case included too.

Trade options, a Macbook Pro, the newer and more powerful the better. I can even add the MIA Jazz Deluxe I have listed for the right Macbook.. or some cash to even things out.


I would really like to get SOLD shipped, insured (lower 48)

That's a darn good deal, considering all the meaningful upgrades that were done. This won't be around too long. GLWTS!!

And to let everybody know, the SCN noiseless pickup covers are longer than the ones that were in the GL. Rather than route the body, I thinned the ends of the covers a bit, then wet sanded them so they are nice and smoove. Just figured is was better than increasing the size of the pickup cavities, in case somebody wanted to install Fralins or ?? and have a big gap at each end of the pickup.

I'll post some close ups later tonight..

How's the neck? Has it ever needed or been adjusted? Any issues to speak of? Also, not a big deal, but is the tolex case a Fender G&G Hard shell?

Neck is fine, no issues with truss rod etc. I adjusted it a small amount after receiving it. The original owner lived in a dryer climate and liked the action a bit higher than I prefer.No issues, the pickups and tuner were... But I took care of that! The case is not a g&c, it's a compact rectangular case, the bass fits perfectly and it's in vg condition.
