I'm unsure how many Torzals have popped up in the classifieds, but I'm fairly certain the number is quite low.
Here are the particulars:
32" Scale/Flamed/curly maple over padauk/5 piece maple and padauk neck w jazz width/Matching headstock on both sides/Matching back cover/Matching maple knobs/Sperzel Tuners/Hipshot "A" style bridge/Neutrik locking jack/Rosewood board with a layer of graphite underneath/Nordstrand NPJ4SE pickups/Aguilar OBP-3 Pre with the mid switch and passive/active switch/Bone nut
It has schaller strap locks that have been slightly counter sunk for added stability. The bass weighs 8 pounds.
The neck is rotated 15 degrees with the bridge rotated 20 in the opposite direction. More information on these basses can be found at Little Guitar Works*|*Handcrafted Ergonomic Basses and Guitars
It comes with a form fitting ProTec case.
The bass is mint, the strings are still fresh and I have an extra set to send along. (The nut was cut for .45-.100's)
I want to trade this for two reasons - 1. Medically, my left wrist is doing wonderful compared to 2 years ago when I ordered this bass. (There is currently a 12-18 month build time on these.) Having to completely break down my playing and start doing things in correct form has alleviated the pain and tingling. 2. I play in smokey dive bars and I realized that I would never play this bass out. This is not something I had considered at the time. What I have is a super nice practice instrument.
I would prefer a medium scale bass, but I am open to any 4 or 5 string offers.
