This is a huge bummer for me. I purchased this bass not even a month ago and have not spent 5 minutes with it. To be honest, I recently suffered a huge loss in my family and have been reevaluating my priorities ever since.

I am asking $1,415.00 shipped UPS ground to the upper 48 and will include BOTH cases (hence my higher asking price). Not looking to make a dime off this sale, just looking to get as much of my money back as possible.

Here is a link to the previous seller's for sale thread:

2006 LIMITED EDITION WARWICK DIRTY BLONDE THUMB
MINTY BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!!! ONLY: $1,385.00 SHIPPED WITH THE LOWER 48 INSURED UPS GROUND.

UPDATE!!! JUST TOOK PICS OF IT THIS AFTERNOON IN MY HOME!!

Said I would never sell this.
But as we all know here on talk bass, Yea right! ??? hahaha!!
This is truly an amazing super hard to locate bass!
And now that Warwick has started selling their German made basses for insane prices, these will always hold their value and appreciate over time in this condition!

This is a 2 owner never gigged bass!
I scored it from the original owner in mint condition.
He played it in his church a few times and then had to sell it he said.
I have always had it in my home since I bought it.
It gets limited playtime in my rotation.
It is a minty beautiful bass that needs be played more often.
If you want a limited edition thumb for a killer price, jump on this one fast before someone else does!

This bass has been upgraded to a Gotoh Drop D Tuner as well, in matching black finish. It is the same style as the original Warwick tuners.

The buyer will get their choice of either of two Warwick cases.
It came to me in the original deluxe heavy duty Warwick rockbag.
Since I bought it, I bought a new Warwick semihard case.
It was around $110.00
It is a large codura covered case with what seems to be a styrofoam style padded lining.

The buyer can choose between the rockbag which is in minty shape and awesome.
Or the upgraded larger semihard case.
One thing to note, the very small Thumb bass is not at all fitted in the much larger case. If you want a fitted case, then the rock bag might be the better choice. You decide.

Please pardon the quick snap shots.
I will snap better pics with 24 hours hopefully to better show the bass and details and the semihard warwick case as well.

My loss is surely someones gain on this one!!
Please feel free to ask any questions, and send a pm if interested in grabbing it.

Thanks!

Oh Man, Sorry!
:( :( :(
Truly!

To those out there considering this.
I can attest to the fact that this is a jaw dropping example of Warwicks 2006 LE Blonde.
This has amazing grain in the poplar top. One of the nicest I have seen out there to date.
The detail and coloring in the tiger ebony board is beautiful as well.
And a killer flamed maple neck!
w/D-tuner!
Jump on it while it is here.

I am sorry to hear of your troubled times. How is the balance? ( Neck dive?)

Sorry I missed your question before, but to be honest, this bass is CRAZY light (at least compared to all the other Warwicks I've owned and my current 4 string Streamer Pro M) and when I played it, I didn't notice any neck dive, but again, I haven't even spent 5 minutes with the bass.

How thick is the neck? I understand most Warwicks around that era used to be "baseball bat" thick. Is that the case or how does it compare?
Thanks!

I owned this model and played it for a few years. I can attest that this is the lightest and most flexible bass made by Warwick. It killed for rock, punk, and ska. The neck is chunky, but fast. It's NOT a baseball bat at all.

Mine weighed under 8lbs. The figuring on this one is gorgeous!

Someone hit it!

I totally agree with Mr Pickles.
The neck is not at all like the warwick baseball bat feel.
It is a flamed maple neck.
Tiger Ebony board...and very fast.
It is the smallest lightest bass by FAR of any I personally owned.
Well balanced too.
Dam*&^% Now I am bumming I ever let go of it.:eyebrow:
