Details

This is an early 90's Fender American Deluxe Precision Plus in Reverse Silverburst. I got this in a trade somewhere around a month ago. I actually have no qualms with it at all - in fact, its one of the very nicest sounding and playing basses I've ever played, let alone owned. I was looking for a Jazz bass, and this really did fit the bill, and then some. Anyway, I'm putting it up for trade just to see what's out there. Anybody that has seen my name on some of the other forums knows that I trade on a near-constant basis for the sheer love of trying new instruments.

This has passive Lace pickups, and fine tuners on the bridge, both of which are awesome.

The only flaw is one small indentation by the bridge on the front, but there are no chips, dings, cracks, scratches, or exposed wood anywhere.

I'm looking for any and all trade offers - Guitars (any number of strings) are my primary interest, though I also like basses (any number of strings), studio gear (including a nice interface), high end computer parts, keyboards, amps (guitar amps only, unless you have some cool bass processors, or your bass amp is just too awesome for me to deny), etc. If you want to buy it, offers around $850 or so will work.

I'm located in South Western Pennsylvania

All offers should be sent via PM or e-mail: [email protected]

How much do you want for it? I have things to trade but I honestly would not know what to offer. They were not a huge seller for Fender , thus discontiued. So there aren't many out there to establish value. The one's I have seen are all over the place. If you don't want to advertise a price I understand but would you pm me with one? Thanks, nice bass.

that is an awesome looking bass. I don't know anything about these though, just a volume and tone knob? Can you switch between the bridge and the regular P pickups somehow?

Those look like stacked knobs. So it's got 4 knobs, technically.
Also, according to the serial, this particular bass was made in 1992.
Bump for a pretty sweet looking instrument!

Very nice looking bass. Does this bass have the Jazz neck? Would you PM me with an asking price if you are willing to sell? Thanks!

My goodness, that's gorgeous! I don't have anything I'm willing to trade at the moment. Would you consider selling it?
