Conklin Groove Tools GT-5 for sale. I'm new to Talk Bass, and I'm not sure how much info is expected, but I think everything you'd need to know about the features of a GT-5 have been well covered on previous posts. This particular bass is in very, very good condition, and looks like it was barely/rarely played. Body, neck, fretboard, frets, hardware, etc.; everything looks almost new.
There are a couple of things to note.
1) The bass is stamped "used" on the back of the headstock. This usually denotes minor cosmetic flaws, but I'm not sure what, if anything, that would be on this bass. The one thing I did need to repair was a minor separation of the wenge and purpleheart neck laminations up at the top of the headstock. A little superglue and a clamp and it closed up fine.
2) This is the newer model GT-5 with the slap switch. The switch is installed and works as designed, but the small trim pots which are supposed to be on the rear cavity cover have been removed. All it seems to affect is your ability to adjust the amount of gain change that takes place when you engage the switch. You could either find the parts or just use as is, which is what I've been doing.
