So I'm selling my lovely Danelectro, their version of the Bass Guitar similar to the Fender Bass VI.
Selling for $300 shipped in the continental US, paypal only.
Will come in the case I have with it, with lots of bubble wrap inside the case (its loose in the case as shown in the picture, but it was the only case I could find the right shape) and the case will be in a big safe shipping box. FYI the metal-looking control plate still has the plastic-wrap stuff from when it was bought new, I left it on so I wouldn't scratch it.

Bass features 2 single coil "lipstick tube" pickups, controls are Volume and Tone for each pickup and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The nut is metal, and the bass has 24 frets, and all frets are easily reachable due to the offset body shape. This bass is super thin and light, see the pictures to get an idea just how tiny the body is! Has a tremolo that works as a tremolo should (for adding tremolo, not for dive-bombing!) and surprisingly good intonation from the rosewood bridge, when I set it up no string was even a cent off. The bridge slots have been widened to accommodate the bass strings, as shown in the pictures, looks awkward but they are solid even when using the tremolo.

Pictures show it with Labella flats, but I also have a set of nickel roundwounds that I only played for a couple hours.
If the buyer so chooses I will set it up with the roundwounds instead.

With the flats on it, it nails that sound of Jack Bruce on the Fresh Cream album, without getting too muddy (unless you solo the neck pickup and roll the tone all the way off!), also can cop a good P-bass with flats tone with the knobs set right.

It gets good surf twang with the roundwound strings, closest I have ever heard a bass sound like a guitar when the tone is full on. Chords come through nice and clean.

Please ask any and all questions, in case I missed anything, onto the pics! These were taken last november and it has sat in the case since then, no changes have been made and I haven't played it, I'm selling it because I just don't play this type of music anymore.
