I got this a few months ago. It's great bass (not a museum specimen), but as much as I want to love the GL neck, I just don't seem to get along with how thin it is at the nut.
It has Dimarzio (DP 123's) jazz pickups, which are fantastic sounding, quiet, can use the neck alone for a nice p bass sound w/o hum. Black pickguard, Wilk. tuners. The previous owner did a great truss wheel mod, which works great, although I only used it once on the basses arrival- neck has no movement issues whatsoever.
So all is great, except it has small dings, scratches and scuffs. It's obviously been played a lot. No structural issues at all, not even a small crack in the neck pocket, but visually, it is not mint! Having said that from a few feet away, the cosmetic issues don't show.

Weight is about 9 lbs- lighter than a few other GL's I've tried. When I got this bass, I swore I would never sell it. Famous last words obviously, but it is a fantastic players bass, if you like the thiness of a GL neck.

This is my old bass and an absolute BEAST of an instrument. It served me well for some amazing performances.

How did you do the truss wheel mod? I'd like to do that myself.

I custom made a metric truss rod wheel and routed the body and pick guard. See my sig link for details.

Ok thanks. I'll have to use my home pc to see the signature links. For some reason they don't show up on the iPhone app.

SOLD and going to PA- thanks for all the interest. And this is a truly great bass, if it ever comes back up, buy it!
Also, the truss wheel mod is awesome, and IMO, well worth doing.
