Thanks for looking!!! I have for sale (maybe trade) a Fender MIA P Bass. First off, I am not someone with a lot of knowledge about Fenders; as a matter of fact I have very little.
Sooooo, I will describe it to the best of my ability (feel free to help me out if you know any details)!! MIA P bass; Seymour Duncan pups (it says Basslines on them; someone told me they were Quarter Pounders)?? I am not sure about that. I think the color is Candy Cola (again, not sure) and it has a pearloid pickguard. Strings thru the back or top load. Couple of small chips in the paint; it looks like a lefty might have owned it; it looks like it once had another screw in it for a strap on the bottom horn (???). Not very noticeable unless you look for it.
I have only had the bass for a few weeks; played it a couple of times in church and LOVE IT!!! BUT, I have seen a 6 string beast that I really want to get, so my P bass has to go.
This bass kills as far as tone; I have played a few P basses over the years; those Duncan pups bring this one alive!!! Smooth as silk to play; low action right now and just takes a light touch to roar!!! I would not sell this if not for the Wick that I am after (anybody who knows me knows I love Warwicks)!
I will pick me up another one of these soon Lord willing!! Probably a 5'er though!!
I did not get a Fender case with this, but I can come up with a hardcase or gig bag for it (not Fender though; I don't have any of them). We can discuss that if you are interested.
Asking $900 shipped for this killer!! You won't be sorry to get it!!!
Here are some pics and a link to over 40 pics on Photobucket. I tried to take pics of the small chips and the place where the straplock might have once been
There is slight buckle rash on the back, but nothing major in my opinion.
