Hey All,
I thought I would be muscle man but I am week and went back to carrying around a micro amp head. So this power amp has to go.
This is a Crest CA9 power amp in really good condition in a Pearson 2 Space Deep Rack case, which it easier to carry around.
This amp has plenty of balls. I used it with an Aguilar tone hammer and it sounded great. I tried a couple of Class D power amps and the CA9 is just heads above the others in pumping tight lows.

Specs:

Great input Sensitivity at .775v had no problem with pedal preamps.

Rack case:

I am trying not to ship this so for now local sale only.
$450

No speakons only binding posts.
I am not the original owner. I bought it second hand. So not sure how old it is.
Everything is fully functional.

Thanks for the info. So what do binding posts mean in terms of plugging into a cab that only has speakons? If it's not too much trouble, can you plz post a pic of the back of the amp? Is the binding post cable included with the amp?

Thanks for the info. I'm not up on this stuff. How long have you owned it and how has it been used (gigging, studio, pushed hard/soft, etc.)? Is it before Peavey bought CA (does the back say Peavey anywhere)? Thanks again, DM

I am not the original owner. I bought it used from a restaurant owner who was going out of business so I am sure he didn't drive it hard. I used it to power 600 watts at 4ohms, so I am sure I wasn't driving it hard either. I gigged it twice, both outdoor gigs with no smoke or beer spills. It has been used, but not abused or pushed to limits. My cabs would blow up first if I pushed it to the limits ;-)
I am not sure if it is from Peavey era or not. I don't recall it saying peavey on back but I won't know till I get a look at it when I get back into town on Monday.
This is not the actual amp but it shows what the back and front look like.
