For sale FS: 1978 Fender Jazz bass, excellent, case

Not sure if I want to do this, but I am selling my 1978 Fender Jazz bass, in excellent condition. Everything is original (finish, pots, knobs, pickguard, extra tort pickguard is included) except the pickups were changed and they are 1970s vintage DiMarzio pickups (sounds great). The frets and fretboard are excellent. The neck is straight and has been setup medium low action. Trust rod works fine. Bass works perfectly, no noise or electronic problem. Strung with new strings. Weights around 10 lbs. Nutwidth is 1.5". The neck is a joy to play. This bass sounds incredible, punchy and very clear (trust me). Price is $1725 shipped within the USA.
