I have a deposit on this, but the buyer is having a hard time coming up with the rest. He's asked me to try and sell it and refund him his deposit, so here it is again.
Warrior Signature 5 in used condition. These basses play and record as good as anything Ive owned, and this one is no exception. Low action, perfect balance, and light weight. This one is a player, and in fact as Im told, belonged to JD Lewis of Warrior who makes these. The bass shows signs of wear, but not abuse. There are dings around the perimeter, and Ive tried to capture the worst of them in the pictures below. There are more, but if youre okay with the ones you see, youll be okay with the others. Theres one on the top thats pictured, the rest are on the sides or back. Neck and board are free of dings and/or dents.
I usually sell MINT gear, so I want everyone to be clear on the condition of this one. The treble pot is a little bit scratchy when you get between the 75%-100% range. If you turn it back and forth a few times it goes away. This one also has regular Schaller straplocks and not the usual internal Dunlops. Bass needs new strings, but takes a ridiculously low setup. One of if not the easiest playing bass I've ever had.
Quick Specs:
Alder Body
Buckeye Burl Top
Buckeye Burl Knobs
Buckeye Burl Pickup Covers
Maple / Purpleheart / Maple Neck
Ebony Fretboard
Bartolini Jazz / Fatboy Pickup Configuration
Bartolini 3 Band EQ with Mid Switch
34 Scale, 18.3 mm Spacing, 24 frets, 8.5 Pounds
Warrior HSC has some tears in the tolex, but 100% functional.
SOLDnet to me is what I need to get. However you need to make that happen. You can figure shipping to be around $50.
