TRACE ELLIOT 7215 SM Combo Amp - $400 OBO!

Up for sale is my Trace Elliot 7215 SM combo amp. It's a mid to late 1990's model with the GP7 SM preamp. Asking $450 OBO (Local NYC metro area sales)

-Made in England
-200 watts RMS / 400 watts peak
-2 x 8 ohm cabinet outputs (one to the onboard speaker + additional output for an extension cabinet)
-Tuner output
-Variable input gain
-Passive/Active input selection settings
-2 EQ preshapes immediately after input gain (defeatable)
-7 band graphic EQ (+/- 15 dB) at the following freqencies:
50 Hz, 100 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1KHz, 2 KHz, 5 KHz
-Mixable graphic EQ output
-XLR output (pre & post EQ settings)
-Effects loop
-EQ balance (low/high shelving)
-2 x cabinet ports with sealable covers

This amp can get loud all on it's own. Add an extension cabinet and it can handle most stage situations. The tonal variations that the preamp can deliver are pretty wide ranging.

Why am I selling? Because I've got several other amps that I use on a regular basis for gigs and recordings before this one even gets considered. It's just not getting used enough for me to justify keeping it, and it could serve somebody else better.

Asking $400 OBO (Local NYC/NJ metro area sales)

Put it in perspective, it's a 500W amp by modern standards and a 300W cab.

Ok it's not a 300W cab but pair it up with readilly availble matching 1153 cab and it's a stonking rig.

Great sounding combo. One of the best I've heard.

if you change your mind on shipping, lemme know!

Will do. The prospect of getting an amp this size properly boxed/crated is a little daunting. I've shipped instruments before, but not amps or cabinets. I may stop by FedEx and see about how much they would charge for professional packing.

I'm sure this sounds killer with my 1153...tempting, but I think I'm going to keep holding on for another 1153.
