Isn't this the M5 model? The M5V usually has the control plate and pickguard.

Yes it is ALDER. I was told rosewood but could be wrong. Possibly sold but still here for the moment.

Looks like a really great bass, Dean. I have an M5 and I love the thing.

FWIW, I think your original post may have the woods correct, it looks like a swamp ash body and a rosewood fretboard. The streaks in the board make it looks like Brazilian rosewood which Mike has been known to use.

My M5 is 18mm and has a push/pull for the active/passive and a 3 ways switch for the midrange frequency. Is your the same?

Not that I have my finger on the pulse, but I've never seen one of Mike's extended cutaway (i.e. M5) bodies in anything other than swamp ash. I'd certainly guess ash from the pic as well. FWIW, I'd also guess Indian rosewood on the board. Of course, a call to Mike's shop with the s/n would clarify.

These are great basses, and this is a really attractive price. Those Duncan pickups offer a great trad J tone in passive mode, and the Bart NTMB is a perfect match for more versatility. Bias the back pickup and boost the 250 mids, and you'll want to hide the women and children. Center the blend with a slight boost on the lows, and the slap tone will make you smile.

Thanks for chiming in guys. I believe it is 18mm string spacing but not certain. It's Volume push/pull active/passive,Blend,Bass,Mid,Treble and a 3 way mid switch. This thing is a tone monster. The clip I have is flat and favoring the back pickup but this is also a great slap bass and with some bass boost gets huge.

Don't have a scale but Lull basses are very light. Probably around 9lbs.
