I really, really love this bass but and think it is the perfect fretless fiver but I am not the worlds greatest fretless player even though I love playing fretless. Since I'm just a hobbyist with aspirations to play jazz one day I figured why stretch my very limited time trying trying to master fretted and fretless. I'm sure I'll pick another cheapo fretless to keep at a bit but for now I'm paring down to one lonely bass.

For sale is my lovely 1997 Warwick Thumb BO5 lined fretless. It has a wenge neck, ovankol body, and ebony finger board. It plays nice and smooth with plenty of Warwick growl. Incredibly articulate bass. This sale will include a hard shell case and a 3 band MEC eq and extra 1/4 inch jack. It has the original 2 band installed currently.
Asking price is $1250 Shipped CONUS.No international shipping. It will be shipped fully insured with tracking and heavily packaged. I'll say it again. This bass is for sale only. No trades.
Paypal only please.

got a few more questions,

how much fretboard wear does it have? what kind of strings have you been running and how long have you owned it? is the neck straight and does the bass need any work? dings and scratches?

thanks!

It has very little finger board wear. I use Dean Markly NPS blue steel Nickle rounds light gauge. The neck is straight. Bass need zero work. The parts were included as part of a trade for this bass last year. I have had the bass for one year. Gigged it only twice. It's in awesome shape. I think it was a bedroom queen before I got it.

man, if this was unlined it would be mine! do the dots on the side line up with the actual notes like an unlined fretless, or are they between the notes like on a fretted instrument?

they are like a fretted instrument. Took me a little while to get use to because my previous fretless basses were unlined.
