This bass is KILLER. I kid you not. You won't believe how great the feel of this instrument is - it's ridiculous.

- Marco custom wound hum-cancelling pickups with custom covers
- 2band Glockenlang Pre
- Hipshot hardware
- 34.5" scale, 18.3mm spacing (adjustable at the bridge)
- Marco's best woods

I'm putting this out as a feeler (still undecided on whether or not to sell). For a cash sale I'd be looking for $1250 shipped. For trades, I'd be looking for a US Lakeland Joe Osborne 4 or 5 (I'd be adding cash, obviously).

Here's a quick video of some of the sounds of the bass. I forgot to mention in the video that right now the bass is strung E - C, so you don't get to hear the low B (but it's thunderous).

Pictures to come soon..

PS - Please check out Marco's stuff on his Facebook or website.

I'm surprised the string retainer only covers the middle three strings, it appears that most of Marco's builds span at least the top four. Have you had any buzz issues on the high string? Also, those aren't dings, they're beauty marks ;)

No buzz issues at all! I've had it strung both B-G and E-C, both ways gave me zero buzz. I have a pretty light touch, though. That being said, I do have it set up with WICKED low action.

Great. I know there are plenty of basses that don't even have string retainers and never have buzzing issues, but they just always seem like a good precaution. That or a zero fret, but I guess some people might not like how those affect tone.
