This bass is in “as new” condition (plastic is still on the pickguard). I’m a low B guy so my 5s and 6 string fretless basses are getting all the play. It’s time for this one to find a new home. Here’s a YouTube video of a bass with the exact same specs as this one to give you an idea of the tones available.

There is no case but it will be double boxed.

Price $450 shipped (UPS) east of the Mississippi. Add $25 for buyers west of there**.

free bump for ya

I am in the market for a fretless 4 but being an upright player I am tripped up by lined boards, need a blank plank

I have had two of these, a 5 and a 6-string from the first run, cant find a better bass for the $$$ IMO, and they have been tweaked and improved since the ones I had

I know they are not well known but whoever chooses to take the plunge should be very happy with this bass

GLWTS!

Action is adjustable via the truss rod, bridge, etc..

Never noticed any uneven response across the neck but I've not played the bass much at all. My 5 and 6 string fretless basses get all the action.

ummm, ya, the truss rod.....

Not was I was asking actually ;)

Low, medium, high?

can you get a low action with minimal or no buzz, or does it feel like you can't quite get as low as you'd like maybe?

Well right now it's kinda high for my personal tastes. Haven't tweaked it and it has a bit too much relief due to the climate changes.

To be honest I don't know how low it can be set because I haven't played it or cranked on it enough to see. That's one reason I'm selling. This bass SHOULD be played and I ain't doing that so it needs to go to someone who will.

Having said that the bass is on hold. Possible deal in the works.

Gonna go ahead and open this up again. Have not heard back from the potential buyer.

tlr1293 - I got the bass back out and did a quick adjustment on it and was able to get the action very low. There was a little bit of buzz on the E string at the lower frets but I adjusted the neck very flat with no relief. It had a great "mwah" across the entire length of the neck. I'm sure further tweaks to the truss rod and saddles would get it where you'd want it. Also this is a bolt-on neck bass so the option to shim is there as well.

I love this bass! It's exactly what I have been looking for! Too bad I just put a damn engagement ring on layaway!
