TASCAM DA-38 - 8-track digital tape studio recorder. Was a studio standard a number of years back. This unit has low hours on it and works flawlessly. I bought and used it to dump down an old studio recording onto my DAW for re-mixing, and it worked perfectly for that use. If you're reading this, you know what it is.
