I'm selling a handful of basses to pay for/justify a few new ones.

[DEL]Lakland US Hollowbody[/DEL] SOLD for $1950
I bought this from Bass Club Chicago in January. Its a great bass, and NAILS what a hollowbody should be. Its in the same condition as it was when I got it. No nominal wear - a few small dings, scratches, and swirls on the back. Includes Lakland TKL HSC.

Lakland US 44-64/BG (Darkstar) Keeping this one
I just got this from Strappa a few weeks ago. Its everything it should be, and then some. Candy Apple Red finish, jazz width neck, and darkstar pickup. 100% rad. Will ship in a Fender Hardshell case. Currently strung with a new set of D'Addario Chromes.

1978 Fretless Precision Bass
This bass is an absolute dream. I'm just not a fretless player, and don't see myself becoming one.

The original owner put some sort of protective covering on the back of the bass, which removed or wore the finish. It is a little bit more dull, and you can feel the grain. At some point, "Mickey" was engraved into the original pick guard. It actually looks pretty cool; but I did put a new pickguard on it.

I currently have a 1973 jazz neck on it, as well as a Badass Bridge. I have all of the original parts, which gives you (the potential buyer) options.

As is (73 neck, BA Bridge, original neck and parts included): $2600.
As original (fretless neck, stock bridge): $1750.
I'll sell the bass as it currently sits (jazz neck, BA bridge, original parts -with exception of neck) for $1900

The bass will ship in the original case.

I may add a few more basses to the thread as time goes on. I'm trying to decide what else needs to go.

I'm not too keen on trades, but if the right one comes along (Alleva-Coppolo or a vintage Fender)... I might bite.

Any chance you'd consider selling just the fretless precision neck?

If there's an interested buyer for the bass as it is, then yes. For now... No.

I'm not opposed to it, I just don't want to rob someone's shot at an all original 78 fretless.

All right, that's cool. I'm interested in the neck, but I don't really need the whole bass.

Hey, let me know if you change your mind about the neck.

Hollowbody is sold.

I'm keeping the Darkstar Glaub for now. If, after a few more gigs, I decide to sell it - I'll start a new thread.

I've also updated the 78/73 Precision with a few options:

- Everything (Current Iteration, fretless neck, BA & orig. bridge, all parts): $2600.
- As original (fretless neck, stock bridge): $1750.
- I'll sell the bass as it currently sits (jazz neck, BA bridge, orig. bridge) for $1900
