For sale is my excellent condition Mesa M6 Carbine with brand new 12AX7 Mesa tube. This has been babied and may have a tiny scratch or two on the top of the amp. Has been racked inside a SKB rolling case. The case has been scratched up, but that is the point of a protective case. I am the original owner of this amp and case. The amp ships with the case, unless you don't want it. I am asking $800 shipped with case. Paypal preferred.

I should mention why I a am moving this amp. I bought an Orange TB500, and just can't haul heavy gear around with my surgically repaired back. This thing is very versatile and can hold its own in any genre. Just can't lug it around anymore, even with the rolling case.

I have owned it for two years. The tube has less than 2 hours on it. I can have the amp looked over by the guys at Savage if you prefer.

At any rate, definitely interested. Getting back into bass after many years away, looking for a gigging amp, and after lots of research I believe this amp has the tone range I'm looking for.

What cabs have you played it with? Anything you'd recommend in particular? Thank you!

Shoot me a PM and we can talk in more detail. I paired it with a Mesa 4x10 and a Mesa 2x12. It is the cleanest amp I have ever played. I use a lot of effects, and it doesn't muffle or filter my sound at all. I am personally biased to any amp with a horn. Otherwise, you really miss out on the definition the M6 provides.

I do not. I normally leave the voicing flat, but I know that you can switch quickly between the different voice setting by use of the switch.

Either this one, the other with Mesa Head or 3 others including an older Fanthom 2/12 combo($999) at GC and a local Walkabout 12....hoping to make a decision in the next few days.....Help me out Jamie!!
